THE PROJECT:

ART27 - Visual  Arts Promotion was founded December 2024 in Sanyang / The Gambia by Mr. Ferenc Donderer, a retired Resident, Artist, African Art Collector and Supporter of Gambian Young Artists; permanent living in The Gambia since 2017.

The ART27  is Member of the NCAC  (National Center for Arts and Culture / The Gambia

since 06/2025.

Our ART27 - Visual Arts Promotion is a  NON PROFIT oriented  Group of Artists  working together, usually under

their own management. Believing in the importance of Education throughout Workshops, Educational Supervision and Guidance for talented Young Gambian Artists.

The  ART27  is building an Online and Offline presence through Social Media, Artist Websites, Art Competitions, and Collaborations with other Artists and venues to increase public interest and appreciation. Key Strategies include connecting with Art Collectors, Galleries, and other Art Professionals.

The aim of the ART27 - Visual Arts Promotion can include almost anything that is relevant to

the needs of Painters & Sculptors in our Group, this can range from:

Purchasing bulk materials in Europe and Asia
Sharing Equipment, Space or Materials
Organise Exhibitions & Workshops
Donor Acquisition, Financial Sponsorships and Private Supporters
Involving the Local Media (Print, Web, Radio and Television) in our activities.
Collaborations & Invitations from/to International Galleries

Sharing Ideologies, Aesthetics, Respect & Tolerance and Freedom of Religious and Sexual Orientation.

GOAL:

Organising Workshops & Educational Supervision and Guidance for talented Young Gambian Artists.

Support and Promotion of the existing Gambian/African Visual Art Scene and its Artists in

Cooperation with the NCAC  (National Center for Arts and Culture) of The Gambia.
