ART27 – Visual Arts Promotion
Founded: December 2024 in Sanyang, The Gambia
Founder: Mr. Ferenc Donderer – retired German resident, active visual artist, African art collector, and supporter of young Gambian artists. He has been permanently living in The Gambia since 2017.
Membership: ART27 is a member of the NCAC (National Centre for Arts and Culture, The Gambia) since June 2025.
Mission
ART27 – Visual Arts Promotion is a non-profit initiative dedicated to supporting and promoting Gambian and African visual artists.
We bring together a group of artists who usually work under their own management, while fostering collaboration, education, and mutual support.
