Anna Isatou Bah was born in Faji Kunda, The Gambia, is an autodidactic artist with a wide range of creativity.

Early school years brought her excellent results in Visual Arts like batiks (tie and dye), experimenting with natural pigments and different techniques.

The loss of her father interrupted her creative life and she followed her family obligations to support her mother and sisters.

Since 2019 Isatou Bah is working creative again in sculpturing upcycled materials and power and colourful paintings

(Art Brut) with mixed materials on canvas and wood, exhibited and sold at the craft markets & privat collectors in The Gambia.

Member of the NCAC  (National Center for Arts and Culture) since 06/2025

Member of the "ART27 - Visual Arts Promotion" in The Gambia since 01/2025

Member of the VAAG - Visual Arts Association of The Gambia, from 11/2024 till 07/2025
