Julia Wurth was born in 1973 in Hamburg, Germany. She has been lived in The Gambia and Hamburg since 2017.

Julia grew up with Colors as daughter of a professional Artist and well-known Graphic Designer. Julia was always allowed to accompany her Mother to Exhibitions and create her own works of Art alongside her mother in her studio, always under a loving but strict eye.  Art has always played an important role in her life.

After school, Julia studied Textile Management Design at JIL SANDER, a well-known Fashion Designer.

An additional Certification as a Project Manager and Process Manager brought Julia into the business world.
Julia worked as a Project Manager and Process Manager in the Water and Solar sector in development aid, for large Companies, NGOs, and Government Institutions in Africa. She has implemented projects for UNHCR, the Red Cross, and UNICEF, among others.
Art has always been a constant companion to Julia. On all her trips abroad, a sketchbook, some paints, and pens were a must. Her impressions were later transformed into larger works and sold.

Julia currently lives in Hamburg and is recovering from a serious illness, but very soon back to The Gambia

She will also completed her studies as an Art Therapist and enjoys sharing her knowledge through Courses and Workshops.

In Germany, Julia organises Exhibitions with African Artists and is still painting and offering Workshops for young talents...

As a Marketing & Event Manager for the Art27 Group, she will be responsible for our ART27 Group Members, Galleries and Exhibitions, as well as the Sponsorship Acquisition for the Group.

ARTISTS NEED TO BE SUPPORTED, RESPECTED AND SEEN !!!

Her goal for the future is to create great things together, to host Exhibitions, exchange ideas, learn from each other, and have a good time together.

Julia´s aim is to bring  "ART27 - The Artist Collective"  to a higher National Levels and also looking for strong international Partnerships like....  Associations, International Galleries, Sponsoring and Art Collectors.
